a Synagogue without Walls

Is there a more joyous occasion than the welcoming a child into the world? I would be delighted to work with you in crafting just the right ceremony. Jewish children are welcomed into the covenant traditionally. For interfaith families, I approach the event creatively with special sensitivity and inclusivity.

Shirat Sharon - a Synagogue without Walls baby namings offers Jewish traditions - Adalyn's 3-year old sister wanted to participate, so I wrote a special prayer that required "bubble blowing" while I recited it.

For Gemma, a tree planting was included in her ceremony. We also SKYPED in relatives from Israel.

Jay had been circumcised in the hospital, and so his naming, while not an official "bris," served to publicly welcome him into the covenant.
