Welcoming your Child

"A sacred beginning, rooted in tradition, shaped by your story."

Welcoming a new child into your family is one of life's most joyful and sacred moments. I offer warm, personalized baby naming ceremonies and conversions for newborns, including boys who were circumcised in the hospital.

Because these ceremonies take place in your home or another setting that is meaningful to you, they are often more intimate and participatory than a traditional synagogue service. Family and friends can share blessings, readings, music, and personal reflections, creating a celebration that is uniquely your own.

We can also incorporate meaningful rituals, such as planting a tree in your child's honor—a beautiful custom rooted in ancient Jewish tradition, where a tree was planted to celebrate every birth and to symbolize the life and future that would continue to grow.

For interfaith families, I thoughtfully weave together elements from both traditions with warmth and respect, creating a ceremony that honors your family's unique story while welcoming your child into Jewish life.
