Welcoming your Baby
"A sacred beginning, rooted in tradition, shaped by your story."
I offer warm, personal, and creative baby naming ceremonies and conversions for newborns—including boys who were circumcised in the hospital. Because these ceremonies take place at your home or venue rather than in a formal synagogue setting, they tend to be more intimate, participatory, and deeply personal. Family and friends are encouraged to take part in meaningful ways, creating a shared experience filled with music, blessing, and joy. We can even include beautiful rituals like planting a tree in your child’s honor—a custom rooted in ancient Jewish tradition, where a tree was always planted to mark a baby’s birth. For interfaith families, I take special care to respectfully weave together elements from both traditions, so your child’s first Jewish moment becomes a heartfelt reflection of your family’s unique story.
